1320wrx's 33long build- from start to finish

I have been planning this tank for a while now, and I've finally have got the chance to start it. I have been gathering equipment that I plan on using for that tank.

So far I have:
AGA 33long for display
AGA 30 for a refugium
Glass-holes.com 700gph overflow kit
Vortec mp20
TLF 150 phos reacter
Tunze 9002 nano skimmer
Current Nova HO T5

I still need to get:
Return pump (What do you recommend)??
substrate
Liverock

I installed the glass holes overflow kit today. I will post pictures tomarrow.

Steve, you'll be ok with a smaller Eheim pump for that tank. I know someone who plumbed it as an external and it worked beautiful. I forget which model though.
Substrate- um, you're on your own, lol
Liverock- everyone loves Marco rock, but I think you should use what you currently have since it's not a HUGE tank to fill (unless you plan on keeping your current tank active)

I do plan on keeping my other tank running. Im probably goin to use some base rock I have, it is curing in a tub waing to go in the tank. What model Eheim pump do you think i should get. I want to run a mianifold off the return line to controle my TLF recter and a spray bar in my refugium.

Here are some pics of the tank after I drilled it and installed the overflow box. I also painted the back of the tank black.

looking good!

what kind of table is that your tank is on? Are you using that for so the fishes can play some pool (just joking).

Today I ordered a MRC nano calcium reacter, pinpoint PH controler and a blueline CO2 regulator. It should be here by Friday. Where does everyone get their co2 tanks, are there certain suppliers that sell the tanks or do you rent them?

Steve, you can get them filled st the welding supply place on the white horse pike going towards egg harbor city. There is a welding supply place in Pleasantville as well that sells the tanks for a relatively good price-

Thanks Merv, the SPS I got off you is doing very well. If you have any small frags of the bridsnest left, Ide like to buy one off you. I also figured out a way to run my JBJ ATO with the solonoid and float valve without using the type of water tank that you have. I will post details on how I do it when I start it.

I don't have any full tank shots yet, but soon I will have pics of the tank on its stand with the sump under it. I need to plan on how I am going to run the pvc. I will also post pics of my planned aquascape, i got alot of base rock and used acrylic rods to make columns and overhangs.

I do agree, the 33l is one of my favorite tanks too. The first time I saw one was when I worked at my LFS and someone ordered on for a turtle tank.

I just finished building the sump, here are a few pics. All i have left to do is drill the return chamber and install a bulkhead for my return pump.

I also made a spraybar for my refugium that will run off a manifold from the return pump along with the phos reactor
