The front I am not sure what I'm doing yet. Think magnetic doors or hang-on so I can lift them off and put aside. Not much room to swing a door open.

Leveling?
The stand is in place and slightly off per the board in top
or should I level based on the 2x4 on bottom.
Does it even matter?

Guess my question was blessed correctly.
What surface should I put the level on?
The frame made of 2x4, the thin plywood top or either surface?

I agree that you level the top of the stand. Make sure that it’s level in the front, back, and sides.

Broke down Seahorse tank and found some things I thought were dead. Plus check out the cool rolling cart my wife bought me. She even put it together for me.

I'd probably build a traditional stand as plywood will give your stand added strength. also you can have switches and controls on the side (outside) mounted to wood.

to deal with mosture in the stand you can just install a computer fan pointing towards the side or even the front. you can install a second fan on the rear sucking air in so that back wall will stay relatively dry
You could always rock a small dehumidifier in office right next to Tank they’re silient

2 weeks since the switch and here my water params, a bit concerning.
Alk - 8
Cal - 240
PH - 8.0
Phos - less than 0.25 but not 0
Nitrate - 100

All tests done with API kits, all I currently have.
Will be adding Phosguard for the phosphate.
Nitrates are high, never been this high ever on any of the tanks.
Should I do WC now? Was going to wait a month before doing one.

Think I figured out the Phosphate issue.
My old setup had a 8 inch cup for filter material which I swapped out each weekend and my reading was 20ppm on average.
The new sump has two 4 inch holders. They were swapped last weekend and today extremely filthy. I will have to make a habit of swapping out the filter floss2 or 3 times a week now.
That should reduce the Phos level; plus I threw in my last handful of Phosguard to help out in the interim. Added 10ml Calc to slowly raise that level and added some magnesium as always.
