Bill,
The new tank is looking amazing. Relax and enjoy it for awhile. If I ever get a free moment, I'll have to swing by and see it in person. ;)

Got to see it in person yesterday...It's really VERY nice...made me want to come home and put a sledge through my tank!

Bill is the only person that can take corals from a 70g and put them in a 180g and not have any room for corals left!!

Thanks everyone! Visitors are always welcome. :D

Put the sledge away Brian.! We'll get that tank under control and when my corals start outgrowing this tank they'll be heading your way next. ;)

lol, I know how you are feeling Brian. I am so ready to chuck out my tank and take a break. Between the holidays and the new grandbaby, the tank took a back seat and it is showing. Most of my zoos disappeared, the tulip anemones came back with a vengence, I have some aiptasia now, which I didn't have before and the only thing that is looking good are my fish, which are getting huge in the bigger tank.

wow bill looks great! I almost thought I was looking at a real ocean when I saw that DSB in there ;D I guess I can go back to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and anxiously await your new thread....."blange3's war on algae" ;D ;D
BILLLLLL wuzzzzz upppppp?

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. Visitors are always welcome!

I think I'm starting to see signs of growth, but I'm still worrying about setbacks from the move. This is the tough part of reefing, keeping your hands off until something really needs to be done. ;)

Looks great Bill. Still doing vho's? I guess thats a stupid question.

;D Not stupid, but I'm sure you guessed the answer is yes!

I have 6 6ft bulbs for a total of 960watts running on 3 IceCap 660's.

2 Super Actinic from 11:00am to 11:45pm.
2 50/50 from 12:00 noon to 10:00pm
1 AquaSun and 1 Super Actinic from 2:00pm to 8:00pm.

3 tangs bill?

Yep! The pecking order has been established and scuffling is minimal at this point.

A lot more fish than I usually keep. 10 at the moment, but nitrates are .2 and the skimmer is pulling 2-3 cups a day.
It's a CSS125 by the way. :)

I fill the nori clip twice a day and everyone stays fat and happy. They school together sometimes and other times they stay apart. The Gold Rim emerged as the boss, although the Purple gave up grudgingly. ;D The trigger joins the school from time to time.

I have 2 in my 120 so I guess the one per 60 gallon rule is in effect. Plus my pygmy angel has decided he likes to hang with the Tangs.

Glad to hear about the pygmy because I have decided to move mine to the 180.

I had a pair of ocellaris clowns, a radiant wrasse, yellow watchman gobi and a pygmy angel in the 55. I was wrestling with making the 75 a honeymoon suite for the clowns, but I didn't want to move the radiant to the 180 because I have a lot of small snails and scarlet hermits in there and I do want to get down to just 2 tanks. In fact the 55 is already gone with it's former inhabitants split between the 75 and the 30QT tank.

Well the radiant wrasse helped make my decision about what to do by going carpet surfing. He wasn't totally dried out when I found him, but it was too late. The circle of life was completed when I moved him to his final resting place in the loving arms of my long tentacled anemone.

So anyway, the other two will be heading to the 180 and I'm a little nervous about the tangs. Plenty of hiding space for these two smaller fish so I think it will work out.
