Hey guys, I wanna run some chemi-pure on my system, should I add a aquaclear filter or can I stick it in my hydor slim skimmer? I'd rather put it in there so I don't have to have more equipment on the tank but I'm worried if I put it in the skimmer that it won't skim right. What do you think?

Not sure of the skimmer setup, but I have to agree with xavier, it may affect the skimmer and I would be afraid that it may clog and overflow at one point. If I am thinking correctly the aquaclear might not have as much of a chance to "overflow" out of the tank, but I could be wrong.
Yea thanks guys I'm just goona go with an aquaclear, I run that on my 2.5 with some filter foam and chemipure and its great, wanted to reduce the amount of equipment on my tank but without a sump its hard -_-
These ati bulbs are really causing some nice growth!
thinking of going led.. what do you guys reccomend? diy is not an option lol
At a 34 gallon tank you literally have the pick of the litter. You can look at just about every LED unit and make up your own mind. I know that is not the best answer, but you really can pick anything. I would look at the Aqua Illuminations, radions, mazarra P or about a dozen other units. Depends on what you are looking for and what you plan to keep.

question.. ive got an unknow acro that wasnear the top adhas grown alot but suddenly turned a pale brown color.. any reason this could be? all my other sps and corals are great
Hmm well I doubt its the light because I've got 4 T5 HO all ati bulbs but my nutients did get high at one point but are in check now. Hopefully it was that. Assuming it was and that I keep them down, when can I expect a return in color?

just got a frag a saurus rack..love it, i recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller rack
