Your not the only one. It just doesn't sound right to me either. But after my last problem I might just give it a try.
Let me know how it works if you do. If I get it, I'll certainly be using some common sps as test subjects first lol

........Any min now Paul will chime in praising Bayer insect killer. I think that pretty much kills everything, though I could be wrong.
Contrary to the beliefs of many, on the seventh day, before God took a rest, he made Bayer Complete. (John, is that too much praise?)
If it works on the bugs in our lawn, why wouldn’t it work on the bugs in our tank. It’s a natural neurotoxin that has had hundreds of years of history. In the good old days people would make their own by making a tobacco tea, which would be sprayed on their plants. Relatively safe compared to some other chemicals that are pretty nasty.
Safe for the coral tank...yes
Safe for the environment, I say no. A non selective insecticide that plants translocate throughout, killing both the good and the bad. It's not safe in my definition
Is that in your tank? Aren't they a pai to keep? Very cool
The pipefish looks awesome. How long have you had it?
Nice, I read the article in coral magazine about the blue stripes natural habitat being stony corals in high flow areas. Once you can get them eating, they are supposed to be incredibly easy to keep. One member, quik, on here had a pair that was laying eggs for him.
Were you able to get him eating prepared food. Ive been wanting a pair for a long time but with my wrasses have pretty much decimated the pod population so Im kind of afraid to try. Ive seen a few people keeping the dragon face pipefish also in full reefs. They are not strong swimmers, but tend to hug/slither on the rocks more.
Very nice! looks like you are getting some great growth and great color!
How is the mp40 working out for you?
