I hooked up a spare DOS to automate feeding Nyos chromys, and spread it throughout the day. It’s been going for a day, and so far so good. I’m mostly worried about clogging, so I guess I’ll have a better idea after a couple days.

I have never heard of the reef bot before. Wow. That thing is awesome. Can’t wait till you have it broken in and give it a real world review. Sounds stinking fantastic

Nice the reviews on r2r seem pretty good. I've been thinking about picking one up but I have no room under my stand for it. Only negative about it is it can't do test with powder. I thought you were getting the trident.

I may still. I've been running a KH guardian monitor since last summer (I think), and it's working well and I'm dosing alk and calcium based on the alk #s. This is how I did it even when testing manually. Reefbot will be used for Phosphates and Nitrates. Not sure I care about nitrates, but it's a nice to know. I may still end up getting a trident and replacing the KHG.

Yes, it’ll allow me to add more tanks. It’ll also allow me to control the environment. I’m going to add a ductless mini split for heat, air, and dehumidification.

The fish room is taking shape. New sump is running, all existing tanks now plumed to it. Lowboy is drilled, forgot a bulkhead so waiting for delivery tomorrow. I should have it plumbed and running tomorrow.
