Dangerdave’s reef

I got an ACR from Bill Wann at aquarium engineering. I’ll be able to set alk and calc up and down with the press of a button.
Dang Nabbit @DangerDave now ya done it. Just got done reading articles about the ACR.
I know you got that thing. Just to get people like me back into my car and visit your system (well I may say hi to you as well). But seriously sounds awesome. Can’t wait till it’s up and running and you let us know your alks stability.

Nice man. Love his stuff. Cant wait to hear your feedback on How it works. Bill's stuff really gives the medical equipment vibe and feel to really high end aquarium equipment. And it definitly looks as though your wife is pointing at it saying get this fish "stuff" off my table. Lol

So this reactor was frustrating to get going, most of it due to my inexperience and the quirks that come with a different style reactor. Anyway, it's been dialed in for 2 days now, and my tests haven't move at all from 9.2.

The best part, this is 3.5 gallons of two part I won't have to buy each month!!

Yup. I love it. honestly the best investment I ever bought. Now the reactor I got is rated for 600g reef, same with the new skimmer and sump built. So this way I have everything I need to upgrade my display and add a few more frag tanks down the road. But with the reactor being so big the first 4 months I had to run it at a ph of 7.2 to maintain my cal/alk/mag. Now as everything has grown I'm now down to 6.8 but run a drip rate of 23ml/min through the kamoer

Funny, what you mention above is why I had trouble getting opinions. You cannot adjust the PH in mine, the control board does it all. I just control how much effluent is dosed, it's not a constant flow. No bubble counter, no carbon doser. Just press up or down....

Sometimes user simplified isnt always best. I like to be able to adjust my ph within the reactor using a ph controller, without having to count bubbles to adjust for different loads and then the ability to change the effluent rate to make smaller tighter adjustments. The use of the kamoer make life so much simpler. And I can see a digital read on my effluent rate. So much better than the way used to run it, fed off my manifold, and I used a needle valve to adjust a drip rate, which always would change bc of the effluent build up

How does it adjust the ph or is just set to like 6.5
