Dan's 150 Rebuild

Yeah I know... But its really not as bad as I'm making it out to be and going by the level on my phone, the bubble is smack in the middle on 1 side and off a hair on the other.

It leaning towards is not great for the tank, however it is not causing the issue. The issue is the frame is broken. Also, as you discovered to know whether the tank is level you need a long level (ie 3 - 4 feet). Again, it this was me I would get a new tank, or drain it and replace the frame. 150 gallons + the water from the sump can cause a lot of damage.

Can anyone recommend a place to get frames? After googling it, seems like it only takes an hour or 2 to replace a frame which I am perfectly fine with

From what I read in the past, deep blue pro frames are easier to find then aqueon/ago and we for a aqueon/aga

Okay so glasscages.com and overtheedge.com aren't any luck with my top. Over the Edge said they can make it but "its a 2 piece snap set up and is not meant for support in any way"...

Anyone have any other ideas?

IMO, save yourself the headache get a new tank. Either way you will have to drain it. Replacing a frame on a filled tank is not a real good idea. Do you really want to come home to 150gal of water on your floor when something else happens.

Dan's UPGRADE 150G

I can't remember but is that a standard size tank?

If your dead set on replacing the frame tropiquarium will be able to get frames from a few different places. My guess is fish factory will too.

Getting a new tank is out of the question, can't afford it. I watched videos on it and not one person drained it. They just lowered the level. AND if u guys are forgetting I do have a 1/2" inch thick piece of glass acting as a center brace which is 12x18.

If I went home right now, I could literally pull the frame off by hand. It can't be holding that much in place.

And yes John, I believe its a standard 150.

Is the frame broken or just become unglued from the tank? If it is still in tact just silly cone the damn thing back on. If it is actually broken then replace it :)
