I'm gonna guess vinyl. Not sure, its stuff that was given to me along with the 90 way back when

When you push it on the fitting does the fitting go all the way in? If not try putting the end of the hose in some hot water to soften it up and then push it onto the fitting

Nah I can get it all the way on there for sure. Its weird, never had one leak before and I have both ends of it leaking. I'm really about to just cement it and call it a day

From the looks of it that's flex PVC. Flex PVC is meant to be glued into a PVC fitting not clamped. Easiest fix is going to be to get some 3/4" poly tubing and use that.

Okay then I'm just gonna glue it. I want this tank running tonight Lol my 2 tangs are not gonna survive in the 20g together. They're fighting like crazy lol

I have never tried gluing flex PVC onto a barbed fitting so I'm not sure if it will work or not. I guess it's worth a shot. Let me know how it works out

Will do, glued em about a half hour. Will probably wait til the morning until running water through it just to be on the safe side. I'm setting up all my other odds and ends now

Okay so today is the day I transfer everything into the big tank. Now I've never transferred anything like this before so its kinda new to me believe it or not. How should I proceed? Drip acclimate the whole 20g holding tank for awhile?

What water did you use to fill up the 20? If the alkalinity, salinity and temperature are close to your new tank I wouldn't mess around with dripping into it.

The 20 is filled with old tank water, I did put some old tank water in the tank. Temp should be pretty close. Salinity is a lil low at 1.025 in the DT but I think the 20 is at 1.026 and the alk im not sure of

I dont think gluing the hose to the barb fitting is going to work I would remove the hose go get some braided vinyl tubing and use that.

Well were gonna find out Lol its glued on there so the only way its coming off is if I cut it out

Leak is fixed oh and there's already a fish in the tank. My green clown goby must've been wedged into a rock lol, seems to be doing okay. He must feel like he's in the ocean
