To be honest, I am not positive, but I believe it is a blue turaki.

I bought the frag from someone who was moving and the corals were "angry" as can be seen by the before pics, so they were hard to identify at the time.

My bi-color mushroom had a baby, and it is also bi-color.

It is very small right now, but you can see the color split.

This one should have about 2/3rds blue and 1/3rd green.

Very nice coral additions and the clam is beautiful. Also really like the watermelon type chalice, one of these days I want to have one of those too.

Dave, can't believe I haven't seen your tank tale thread before. It looks great. That Rhodactis sure is an interesting looking creature! You have a few corals that I haven't seen before actually, which is always exciting.

I did have a question though. In the beginning of your thread, you said you have GAC going to one overflow chamber, and Phosban to the other one. Do you mean that they are return lines thru each chamber (ie. returning to the display thru a loc-line)? Or are you feeding into those chambers before they drain to your sump? I was just curious of how this is setup. Maybe I can learn something. :D

I am an example of what everyone says not to do. I have my media in bags and they are just hanging on the overflow tines.

My system is not drilled, has no sump, uses tap water, no skimmer...... and yet, I am able to keep SPS, LPS, etc.

I do put thought into inverts etc..in an attempt to compensate to some degree for the way I keep my tank.

Ahh, media in bags explains what you are doing then. The pic you posted on 12/29/09 (FTS) looks like you have one big center overflow box, so I was a bit confused on what you meant.

You use tap water and no skimmer, no sump? Wow, you are the anti-reefer! LOL.

Well, as long as everything is doing fine the way you are going, I guess no one can give you any crap.

Waht kind of mushroom is that one you got there? With the green body and brown frilly hairs? Looks identical to mine, except mine is bigger tha na dinner plate now:)
