As new reefers, or should I say soon to be new reefers. Right now We are a couple of people with a tank of water 
My wife and I peruse the local fish stores, we look at photos and watch videos on the net and dream about a tank stuff full of wonderous creatures. The problem isn’t that we can’t find information, there is just to much of it. So I am asking you... experienced members of the reef community to chime in with YOUR favorite frags for $50.00 or less. Reasons and photos would be awesome. There is obviously no wrong answers. Please refrain from Corals that are super difficult to care for. Reasons can be color, shape, growth rate, ease of care, cost or anything at all that makes it a Coral that you would choose now. I am not looking for a list of the top five beginner corals for new reefers. I just want to know what YOU like and why.
I will start off with a Coral I think is wonderful for color shape and cost... Mind Trick Montipora. (Or Jedi mind trick). I like it because it is both encrusting and plating, has outstanding red polyps and crazy blue to purple growth fringe all for close to $50.00.
