I used a storage container from Home Depot.
I have done this before so I know to be prepared lol

So it’s a new month so I just did a water change.
I also changed the carbon and GFO media. I have to say the cobalt products are working.
My water is crystal clear and my orp is over 420 I think that’s the highest it’s ever been. Took a full tank picture I almost have a year with this setup.
I don’t have a filter for my phone so my pictures aren't great.

Great looking tank. What would cause the ORP to fluctuate? I just noticed a sudden drop 2 days ago from 390 to 320 and now around 350. Normally i'm around 400.

From what I read you want to keep it over 400.
Your ORP drops every night. 390-320 I think that’s a big drop. It’s a good indicator of needing to change carbon/ GFO or maybe you need a large water change.

So my tank is almost a year old. So i am getting ready to send out my 2nd icp test.
This time I used the fauna Marin $20 icp test.let’s see what it finds. My last test my water was perfect.

I've recently used their ICP test. its fine, missing a few things that I would like fluoride, salinity, and nitrates but overall for $20 its perfect for check ups

So I was able to pick up the refugium from Wilson.
I added it to the system. He was kind enough to give me some cheato so I had to add it right away. Since I didn’t have a small enough pump to run it I had to take the algae scrubber and take it offline. I used the small jeboa pump I had on the algae scrubber. The refugium fit perfect in that space. I already had a $ 20 refugium light(amazon) I was running on my old system. I will also add miracle mud to the refugium. The pods and small creatures that live in the refugium like the mud.

It’s a pretty good deal for $20. I have only used trident before at $40 a test.
