Welcome to the club, except mines finally starting to go away after locking down my nutrient control . Only took me a year and a half to figure out how to manage my nutrients lol
Not to beat a dead horse. But you can always increase water changes. And of course GFO will take care phos. Until your new setup is readyJustin, I have feeling it is because I don't have a fuge. No room in sump or under cabinet. I am upgrading in a few months to a 5ft tank and plant to have a fug e or algae scrubber. Trying to control until the switch.
You could also buy or make an upflow algae scrubber , super easy to use and don't tank up a lot of space. I got one from a member on reef2reef and I'm not sure how well it's working because I've only had it for a few weeks so far but hair algae is starting to grow in it pretty quickly. It just took a while to get goingJustin, I have feeling it is because I don't have a fuge. No room in sump or under cabinet. Sometimes it’s the easiest thing. Glad you figured it out.Well reading on my tablet i realized something.
I had to move to the side cause of sun glare.
Realized Sun moved and is shining through in front of the tank, indirect not right on it.
I closed the blind and big difference. Algae is growing in front only not the back.
Wife made me open the blinds...lol
But she is going to visit her dad in FL tomorrow so.....
Already using phosguard not GFO.
