Shoot that's like the worst day of the week for me. I have class and work from 8 am to 10pm at night.. I know this doesn't revolve around me but there's no way to push it to Thur is there? If that's okay with everyone. If not I guess that's fine but there is no way I can be there wed unless maybe I call out but id rather not
Mike if you could text me when you have a confirmed date, I would really appreciate it. Maybe I can switch with someone. 856-366-0620
Is the 10th looking pretty solid? If so I'll need to figure out something. That's the one night that I need to be out of town this month for work. I may just need to get up at 3am Thursday morning to make my meeting in central pa. The things we do for this hobby lol.
I may be able to help any south jersey guys get the corals down here. I'm in brigantine if that helps. I would prefer them to be picked up that night. Just thought bringing them south might help if you can't make the drive.
Mike, I've had a couple of questions posed to me that I think you can better answer. First pertains to the water. These colonies will be coming in with only a limited amount of water, right? Will you be acclimating them prior to fragging? What water will be used for transport to our homes?
Second pertains to light acclimation. Since these are coming in from the ocean growing with the sun as light, what is your experience as far as light acclimation goes?
First the coral will be shipped in plenty of water. But I will be making 55g drum to do a water change on my tank and I will have plenty of clean fresh ESV water made to acclimate the coral from the shipment. I will handle that part. If anyone wants to come help that would be great. I would recommend people bring a few gallons of their own water ill mix fresh with yours. As far as light acclimation goes... I have never really had any issues putting coral under my lights which is abt 600w of T5s.(in my propagation tank) if your worried any LED burn start them lower than where u want and raise them into place or lower the % of whites for a few days.
Depending on when I get done with work and where I'm working that day I may be able to help as well. Ill try and schedule myself to be working in the area that day
