Ordered 50 more pounds of the Fiji flat rocks and those nylon threaded rods from Marco Rocks. I plan on spreading the rocks out and then drilling them and bolting them together. Those are just contractor garbage bags put up temporarily to see what it looks like. I ordered 30 inch blue\black tank plastic should be in soon.
Going with sand I don't really like the looks of bare bottom. Saturday at the meeting we are going to plan out the plumbing and Sunday morning the boys are coming over to hook everything up. I can't wait.

Ed, everything looks great. Make sure you go with a thicker sand. I hate my sugargrade sand. I'm in the process of changing it out. Good luck with it.

Drilled rocks most of the afternoon. I am really happy with the nylon rods I ordered from Marco Rocks and the Tonga rock. Its easy to make cool shapes once you get the hang of it. Here is half the tank done so far. I think I'm going a little higher and a few more pillars like Merv (concept3's) tank.

Looks really good ED. Your doing a great job. Looks like you have spent a lot of time planning and its paying off. Can't wait to see it with water in it.

Made some good progress today. Took a ride to the Hidden Reef and picked up 30 inch blue background for $2.50 a foot, 3 buckets of instant ocean and 160 pound of sand. Why I go to any other store is behind me. That store has everything I need everytime I go there are the prices are great. Here is how my rocks turned out and also some pics of Steve68's plumping.

Have you figured out what to do with the other two sump suction pipes yet?
