Jgraz's march to 200DD

Acro's, acro's, and acro's.

I do believe you already helped me out with a few of those.

Otherwise no particular names or such. Just good looking stuff.

Update.
And not the good kind

I'll start by saying that my 90 had gotten to a place where everything was running great. Acro's, which I had originally had problems with were starting to do great. The montis were always doing awesome and my fish were always happy and health despite knowing ich ran in my system.

Well ever since taking that down and setting up the basement system things have started rearing its ugly head. Apparently I have been living with monti eating nudibranches. My guess is that they were always kept in check by fish and such. And I have not added a monti in almost a year. Well they hit and hit hard. Most of my montis have been fragged or lost and I've been doing inspections almost daily removing what I see and glueing over eggs and nudis as well. Dipping is essentially useless as up till now nothing has killed them. I've tried revive, coral Rx, and Bayer. At regular and higher strengths and longer then normal dips. Nope doesn't kill them. Even seen them crawling around in the dip up to an hour afterwards. I have RPS All Out coming in soon and I'll give that a try as well.

Fish have a case of ich, I'll try to feed through it like usual. I'm pretty sure I'll get through that unscathed.

Frag tank is pretty much a algae factory and it will be coming down soon anyway as I try to downsize the system to make it more manageable.

The 65 gal refugium will also be coming down however that seems to be doing well. Lots of life in there. However I'm having some excess moisture in the basement so I will be down sizing there to make it more manageable as well.

Acros seems to be doing well also and while I did lose a small frag of red dragon I believe it to be a isolated incident, but I'll keep a close eye on acros for a few days as well.

Ever feel like you bit off more then you can chew?

Upcoming changes:
Basically I'll be pulling most of the system in the basement and moving into a standard 75g to be used as a sump/fuge, unless I can find a way to convert the 100g stock tank to imclur a macro area. The rest will be gone. If it wasn't for the fact that my stand sits low I would just add a sump under that and be done with the basement.

So that's about it for now. Hopefully my next update will be more positive.

Sorry to hear this John. When I broke down my 120 I felt like it had finally started running nicely and my upgrade hasn't been easy. You had a great looking tank before and I'm sure with some persistence you'll get something even better.

So sorry to hear this John and good luck with your plans, things like this sometimes scares me about switching my tank.

Thanks guys

I think we take for granted sometimes how good things are going and get the itch to upgrade. Ultimately I just want to get back to simple.

Very good chance it will be up this Saturday, but it depends on my conduit bending skills. Never did it before. Seems easy but with the curve I'm not sure on the measurement part. Luckily conduit is very cheap.
