Tank is clearing up nicely. Like I said the scape isn’t much but the plan is to keep things simple with zoas and mushrooms leaving open space for fish to swim. I will be adding some rock but not much more.

Tank has been running with no issues for a few days now. I’m really impressed with how quiet things are. The drain is near silent and the varios pump is very quiet as well. May still do a little fine tuning of the drains but I’m pleased for now. Still waiting on a heater. Brs is taking forever. Should be here the 4th. Also need to clean up some wires.

This is the “valve” for tuning the drain. I have been slowly playing with it to get things as quiet as possible.

It’s simply turn to the right to close it up some or left to open it up. There is also an emergency drain.

I went to go buy some live rock but saw some aptasia in the live rock system so decided to go dry. It’s a mix of what seems like Marco rock abs some caribsea rock. I plan to add a bit more as well.

Thanks mike! It definitely is my favorite part and probably the only part I miss about my old job. I feel so out of the loop but it’s coming back slowly. Hoping to get some clean up crew Friday if things are still looking good with cycling.

We have life!!! Took my son to aquarium center the other day to get some clean up crew and he fell in love with the “flurry” clowns they had so we got one. We may be in trouble. When I asked him which one he wanted he said “all of them”. We also got some astrea snails, hermit crabs and a few turbo snails.
