I did like 100 feet of tubing in a bucket and it didn't do anything once the water that was sitting in the tube emptied out. Anyway....what's so confusing? Tube A goes into fitting 107.A65-zz2 . How can that be confusing? Seriously though, booster would help reduce the rejection, thus increasing the production. The water molecules have to get forced through the membrane, or, wait their turn to go buy the restrictor (the little long tailed tadpole looking thing in the waste line). I think its been determined most membranes work best at 75 - 80 psi I believe. So at a increased pressure, your forcing more water into the membrane chamber then can get buy the restrictor in a given amount of time so the only other place for the molecules to go is through the membrane, provided they can fit, and that is where the warmer water comes in. Straight up well water is usually around 55 degrees which has a tendency to close up or reduce the size of pores in the membrane making it even difficult for the purer water molecules to get by, therefore their forced through the restrictor causing higher rejection. I believe the ideal temp is around 70. HTH.

Let me know.....I'll throw together a .............................................................Mixer Gadget ;) for you.

I don't know why they don't develop an RO membrane that is most efficient at well water pressure (50) and temps (55)? I guess its creates a market for membranes and pumps. Not so dumb huh?

A Mixer gadget ehh??

That sounds like a plan.. Can you make one that hooks up with (2) 3/4" connections? I have mine hooked up to the washing machine lines because my basement is finished and all the water lines are behind the sheetrock.

I dont know the names of them.. But they are like standard garden hose spigots.

I guess now that I think about it.. I just need to get another Y to hook up to the hose.. and then the RO hose can go right into your mixing thingie.

I thought it was bad to use your hot water in RO unit? Something about having more metals and minerals in the hot water? Am I wrong about that?

No, your not wrong about the hot water, I don't know about more metals but there is more sediment for sure. I've been mixing for almost a year now. My prefilter cartridges are definitely dirty but still as of now. 125ppm into RO membrane, 000ppm out of the DI. Its always been around 120 ppm after the prefilters since day one. That's what I am using to judge when I need to change them (the prefilters). Also, the mixing chamber can be built in such a way you can add filter media to that as well. So, if metals are a concern, I'm sure there is someway to filter them out. But I think the RO or DI gets them.
