Qwik Check Festival of Ballooning, Anyone?

Anyone planning on going to the Balloonfest this year? I'm shooting for Saturday.

I am going. I already bought the tickets. I used to go every year. The first year I went I got recruited to help setup one of the balloons. That was amazing fun!

If we go, we're going EARLY EARLY EARLY for the first launch. Then we will poke around the midway for a while and leave. The last time we went (years ago) we stayed for the evening launch and spent 90 minutes getting out of the parking area!

Be care ful its on a black top so its hot. Shorts are the way to go

We'll probably be there for a good part of the day. We'll go mid-afternoon and stay for the launch. The rest depends on the kids.

We left around 5:30 AM and got there for the first launch. Big fun, but my big feet hurt. A lot.
