Scopas Tang stuck to Koralia

I found my Tang stuck to the input of my Koralia. He probably wasn't there too long but there was an impression of the grill on his side. I shut it off and he just sank to the bottom of the tank and is laying there breathing fast. Help, what can I do for him?

Not aware of much you can do for physical injuries, but if it was stuck to your powerhead it probably wasn't doing very well to start. Generally speaking only weakened and ill fish get sucked into powerheads.

Does he have any open wounds or any visible issues aside from the breathing ( which Is due to the stress of the events)

+1 to this, especially a Koralia. Is the fish thin? Is there any visible disease?

If you have a hospital tank you can treat with I believe melafix for open physical wounds to the fish but better would be to try and find iut why he ended up there

No open wounds, just discoloration where he was stuck to the PH. He was eating but looks a bit thin. I don't have a HT but I do have an empty 10gal I can set up with a HOB filter. Should I put him in my refugium so no one will bother him?

He didn't make it. He looked very thin, no other outward signs of disease. He appeared to be eating, but I'm going to guess he never ate properly and starved to death. I only added him last month. :(
