I am so sorry to hear that. This situation has led to so much unnecessary loss. Our prayers for your friends family.
Please continue to keep safe, and taking as many precautions as possible.

This is horrible. His wife, my closest "girl" friend is inconsolable and incoherent. We spoke to her but it is just to much. She is in a big house all by herself and no one, including her kids can go there to console her.
Tommy is in the black hat next to me and his wife is opposite with the dark hair.

This is when they helped us move here and painted with me.
He was a Navy, Viet Nam Vet.
They are not burying now as the cemeteries are not working so they are keeping him at the hospital in a freezer truck.

They are my closest friends for over 50 years and will be terribly missed. We saw them almost every week and spoke almost every day. We went through a lot together. They were married 47 years.

His Wife Sue lost her Fiancé weeks before they were to be married. He was shot and killed in Viet Nam.

it truly is sad when somebody close to us passes on I for one will never forget the day my son died in my arms there was nothing I could do I felt helpless
Our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name the kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us And lead us not into Temptation but deliver us from evil For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory are yours now and forever
Amen

Diana, Thank you, I hope you and your beautiful family are well also.
We are still in a funk over our best friend as everything I look at in my house he either helped me paint or hang. He was a great friend as is she and they are sorely missed. Our entire crowd, which is quite large are all sending pictures and stories around because we are all a close family and know each other from practically kids.

Sue is very needy in the sense that Tommy did all the bills, fixing, buying, investing etc. I don't know what she will do as she is all alone in a big house with 2 cars which she can barely drive and a boat which he just had put in the water.

Her 3 Grand Kids keep asking if PopPop is dead.

WE are still in a funk but getting back to fish. After I lost my copperband my tank is having a big aiptasia invasion.
Those things don't normally bother me but lately a lot of things are bothering me so I wanted to take it out on something and all I have that I am not particularly fond of are aiptasia.

I looked around and found one of my old prototypes of a majano wand. I plugged it in and I was surprised it worked.

I killed a bunch of them and it was gratifying. Some came back so I killed them again. Now I feel much better and hope some return so I can yet again kill them. (The thing is not designed to kill aiptasia so if you have those, don't buy one)

These guys are much more than friends but I am not sure where they are spawning or even how they spawn because I don't remember ever having Rainsford gobies spawning or ever having two of them but for a year they stood on complete opposite ends of the 6' tank. Now they hang out all the time

Good looking fish like the colors

Our friend Sue called us and we were so excited because she didn't call anyone since Tommy died.
After the initial hysterical crying we finally got her to start laughing as we recalled so many funny memories from the fifty years we have been friends.

So many things occurred and many of them were completely hilarious. It was so good to hear her laugh.

It seems Tommy died from pneumonia. They went on a cruise just before the Corona Virus came about and we figure they were infected but it didn't bother them much. The Doctor told Sue that although they didn't exhibit symptoms, they may have had it and got over it but it left Tommy,s organs weak and he developed Pneumonia. His heart was racing at 90 bpm and his heart just couldn't take it. He died even before they admitted him.
He was 72.

Thanks Paulie. He will be buried here in Military cemetery in a week or two but we will have to wait an undisclosed amount of time for him to receive his Police force memorial and his Military cerimony.
