Tropical fish collecting in nj

I am in Millville, south jersey, and was wondering if any of you have had any experience in collecting tropical fish that get carried up the Atlantic and end up on our shores? I'd love to find something, any recommendations of where to go and how to catch something?

Search on here there are several threads. Now into September seems to be the best time.

The summer was off to a slow start. I agree, September things should pick up. Collected some Blennys and Butterflies so far. Odd this year too, some of the Blennys are laying eggs in the tank. Some have identified them as sailfin or seaweed blennys, but not sure of the ID.

A lot of tropicals end up at the shark river inlet. Unfortunately I have not gotten a chance to dive there and see for myself yet.

Back in the day we had a couple of club dives in the Shark River inlet. It was a blast and we actually collected a few tropicals.

I saw a blenny in the display tank in Maryland's Assateague Island Visitor Center...he was in a tank next to the tank with the flounder and sea horse...lol

I know paul (out in long island) has caught tropicals too...not sure if he will see this thread to post.
