I have a 125 gallon tank with various corals on a rack about 6 inches from the surface. there is about 400 watts of T5 lighting, 50/50 actinic, 10K. Everything was fine until I stirred up the sumps. The water was extremely cloudy for 5 days. All of the levels were pretty good. Ammonia was at the highest at .25. Nitrites and Nitrites were 0. The PH stayed at a steady 8.3. The Calcium level dipped to 420. Could the corals become bleached because of a Detritus storm? Could they have just not gotten enough light to keep the zooxanthellae fed properly? I've had the tank up and running for about a year and started buying corals and Zoas about 5 months ago. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
