What is causing my coral bleaching?

I have a 125 gallon tank with various corals on a rack about 6 inches from the surface. there is about 400 watts of T5 lighting, 50/50 actinic, 10K. Everything was fine until I stirred up the sumps. The water was extremely cloudy for 5 days. All of the levels were pretty good. Ammonia was at the highest at .25. Nitrites and Nitrites were 0. The PH stayed at a steady 8.3. The Calcium level dipped to 420. Could the corals become bleached because of a Detritus storm? Could they have just not gotten enough light to keep the zooxanthellae fed properly? I've had the tank up and running for about a year and started buying corals and Zoas about 5 months ago. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I'll have to break out the test for alkalinity when I get home but the PH has been consistent at 8.3. The salinity is 1.24 and is tested every day or two.

Did you ever figure out what caused the bleaching? I lost a couple of birds nest colony's and couldn't figure it out. I tested and everything looked good, my alk was at 10.12 and I thought that might of been high and caused it but when I lost the 2nd colony it was at 9.21 aover a month later. So I've been keeping it around 8 1/2 now and all seems good but I did have a problem a little while ago with my pocapora turning white but I dipped it and all seems good now. @TheFishMan
