If it's not too late, remember the evaporation will occur in the return section. I see you have it 5" wide. Being that you have to account for the water that will return to the tank when the power is off, it will not leave you too much room to work with. Is the return pump a submersible?
Nice job and it looks good. Could you explain how it is going to work? It looks like the pump is used to circulate the water in the sump. Could you also post a shot of the plumbing underneath your tank?

I think the brand they and everyone else sells is Silicone by All Glass Aquarium. The direction say to let it sit for 48 hours prior to filling the tank. I did that and it worked fine. My recommendation would be to get the large 10.3 oz as you will need that much, otherwise you will spend more...
You're a day too late. I place an order Wednesday night and expect delivery tomorrow. My order totaled 59.50 so I ordered an extra snail for 1.00. The blood shrimps are not included in the free shipping packages. It seems for the most part the prices on etropicals are better than those on...
First I would scrub it clean. If it is an established tank I would put it in a bucket with a powerhead of pump at least until it loses the odor. If it is a new tank that hasn't yet cycled I would put it in the tank while it cycles.
Has anyone had any experience with Bumble Bee Snails? They are very good looking and I would like to purchase a few. I've heard that they will attack other snails. Any truth to that?
