    Water changes, what do YOU think?

    I do 10% weekly and everything seems happy. I've been getting good growth. I've never missed a week so I can't compare it to not changing. I like the idea for you guys who don't to do it over a period and post your findings, i.e. if things seem to be doing better, the same, or not.

    I have an EV 180 and if I had to do it over I'd buy a different brand. As someone mentioned, the Euroreefs, ASM, and MRC's receive a lot of positive feedback in many threads.

    I too have crabs and snails in the sump. Some hitchhiked in and others found there way in there somehow. It's a good thing. I also have Aiptasia in my sump/fuge. Anyone ever put any shrimp in there? I'd like to add a couple of Peppermints to hopefully rid the area of the problem.

    Thought it would. Gave me all the info I needed. One thing I'm going to change is go to the 4" fans as opposed to the 2 or 3" ones. Take and post some pics as you go. Good luck with your installation.

    Thanks for the info Phyl. As I mentioned above, mine is currently about 2" long, still small. Would you recommend I wait for it to grow a little more before purchasing another Juvi? If so, about how big should it get before I entertain the idea of purchasing another?
