is that a typ-o? 500ml is like a huge bag of the stuff and i dunno if it can all fit in a TLF phosban reactor.
EDIT: nevermind i just double checked, I guess it's possible to fit 500ml in a TLF. Is it gently tumbling or at a boil? I'm trying to imagine all of those in a TLF.
Is the EV180...
besides what spotter asked - i am also curious how long the fish was in the bag before it was introduced to your tank. Did you stay for raffles? What i'm getting at is - normally a person buys a fish and brings it home to start acclimation. Some people will also set up a Quarantine Tank...
sorry for the confusion everyone. I saw the 4 from AO (along with the black tang, helfrichis and regal angel). I must not have taken a pic of the chevrons at POP. Wow I must have been really out of it saturday...sorry for the confusion fisharefriends.
how long did you cure the LR before adding to the display? Most of that algae looks like it's consuming something off the LR. The LR itself may be leeching CO2 due to curing/decomp. Otherwise i'm all out of ideas!
Fisharefriends only states that he purchased 2 fish and they died.
Did you Quarantine them? What other fish are in the tank? What are the parameters? What is the size of the tank? When did they die - was it a week later? a day later? Were they eating? what did you feed them? How long...
if you take a cup of water and vigorously aerate it - does the PH change?
Also is that daytime ph? or did you measure that at night?

LOL.
Don't feel like your tank is doing anything unusual. Just want to encourage you that all tanks go thru this stage. You will be just fine. keep up with the water changes, maybe supplement the crew that has died off.
If you want you can reduce the photoperiod. But I'd consider trying...
