Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
BTA won't eat healthy clowns. But if the clown died inside of it, it's totally possible for the nem to have taken it. You would be able to see an outline of the fish around the "stalk" or foot of the nem
with all the cool new tech constantly coming out for the hobby, you'd think we would have way better and more durable heaters, seeing as to how its arguably one of the most important piece of equipment in this hobby.
I had one explode within a month of purchase. Thank God it was in my mixing container. I've seen a lot of people having similar luck with them. Just overpriced garbage. It was a huge problem about a year ago.
I've had Eheim, fluval, aqueon and other brand name heaters and I've had problems with all of them. Before that, i used cheap ebay heaters on my old FW tanks and never had a problems with them. Dead accurate. I still have them 3 years later. One is in my mixing container and the other on the QT...
I think the only time my girlfriend doesn't mind me playing videogames is when it's horror games. We found this out when I was playing Resident Evil Biohazard lol.
She did buy me Assassin's Creed Valhalla which I'm downloading right now so I can play it
Depends on the year and model. How much it cost you and how long you used it for. If it's in good condition vs heavily used. And how much you think would be fair to ask for it.
In the most basic way to put it, that's like it's "guts". Probably got pinched or poked by something. I wouldn't worry about it. Should go back to normal pretty quickly.
I have gone through hundreds of posts about ich eradication vs ich management. It's an interesting topic and it's interesting to see how the hobby has evolved from its way of thinking about ich from just a couple years ago, to now. Everyone seems to have their own different way of dealing with...
Technically speaking, they'd "eat" anything that would fall into it's "mouth" as a large majority of corals do. But i do believe zoas and Palys sort of just digest them by releasing toxins. (sort of like a jellyfish) as opposed to something like a lobo or scoly that'll pretty much swallow...
They limited and ruined the mandalorian with those movies in the sense that since grogu wasn't in the movies, it obviously means he's not alive. Sad. I wish they would just wipe them from existence and redo them
I knew it the second I saw the x-wing and i still jumped out the couch when I saw Luke put down the good. Cgi could have been better but i swear this series is so redeeming for star wars
Hey welcome!
I highly recommend getting a temp controller. Probably the most important piece of equipment in a tank aside from the heater itself. Inkbird on amazon is people's go to.
Aside from that, some decent hobby grade test kits will go a long way with figuring out your tank until you...
