I just picked up a Jager heater for my tank to replace a different brand that I think may have been giving me trouble. Have had one on my FW tank for lord knows how long....would be my suggestion after trying a bunch of new types that are not as good.

Man I believe a new tank is the way to go....big plastic brute or Rubbermaid container to hold everything until you get it. No offense but this is more hassle than you need.

Lower the water as suggested...before it fails. Well I guess if you didn't like the tank you can buy a new one. What size is it? My 55 cracked there so found one on craigslist .. guy was 3 blocks away so I lucked out newer tank and minimal cost. Maybe someone here has something?

No not close want to say it is about 125...the MJ900 and 1200 are in the 250-290 range...go with the MJ900 best GPH/W.

AO is my favorite and all but a couple clowns in the past 7 years have come from there. One I got from Hawkeye and one from ACC, they are pretty nice too. Also if you happen to want clowns Pacific East has them on sale and they have fish also if you are going mail order.
