Hahhaha. I was with you until the keg, scotch, and bourbon, but dinner for 12 to move a 120 gal tank... I can do a dinner for 12 if I wanted a 500 gallon tank moved...hahhahha
Does anyone know how much it would cost to move a 120 gal with livestock and live rock from Staten Island to Somerset, NJ about 21 miles???? I just gave a guy deposit and then said oh crap how am I going to get this here... I know know... you can beat up on me. It was impulse.
Your best option is to keep the YT in a quarantine for a few days...and move some of the rock work around so when you return him to the tank.. he is isn't used to the environment. An alternate option is to trade your YT with someone else's tang... this way.. the new tang will be new to the tank...
Wow.. these are some amazing looking fish, but at $20k... YIKES!!! Isn't there something else that looks similar to them in the market? I'm sure this will get cheaper in another 2-3 years as people start breeding them. I HOPE!
Nori with few drops of garlic extract/juice should convince just about any tang to eat it. How do you feed the algae strips? Do you just throw it in the tank or do you have a clip to hang it on? If you have only one tang who is not used to eating it... try the clip. I have 4 tangs in my tank...
Okay.. so I finally got in touch with someone about purchasing a used 200 DD with equipment. This is all I'm getting (see the pics.. it's missing the dry rocks and canopy)... how much is it really worth? Considering it's used and not new, and hopefully functional. I probably won't be using...
I would love to have that in my tank. What kind of fish is that? Does anyone know if this is their mating dance or a form of protection so that it looks like a big predator?

Just got an e-mail about this... 30% of everything.. even equipment.
I know what u meant. :) Well still waiting on the guy to respond; however, the post does state he wants to sell "locally"... Not sure if that means Philly only????
What does everyone use to attach new corals to your live rock under the water? Also, do you remove the rocks from the water just put some glue on the new coral plug and attach the plug to the rock? Or some better ideas?
