I am planning on running the wire through it if it is going to be hollow.. why not, right? I am thinking as long as I can hide it until the top of the tank.. it won't be all over the place... and then have the wire tied to the hanging cables running to the light... so it will be a nice clean look.
PERFECT.. this is what I need... Since I'm getting the tank and stand next week.. I can hook it up before I place the tank against the wall... Sweet. Where did you buy everything? HD, Lowes or some where else?
Hi bob.. unfortunately.. I have some major project planned for Saturday... I can drop it of on Friday evening if you can manage. Or if you want you can come by and take it on Saturday morning. I'm only 1.5 miles from Exit 10 off of 287.
Has anyone created a light stand to hand LEDs over the tank vs. hanging them from the Ceiling? I don't have permission to make holes in the celing.. lol... Yes sometimes she wears the pants.. lol
I am planning on creating one using plant hangers (straight brackets) from HD and using Aluminum...
Does anyone know what kind of bulkheads are on a 120 Deep Blue Reef tank? Are they slip/slip type or screw in type. When I say slip/slip.. I mean.. you can simply slip the PVC pipes into the bulkheads after they have been mounted on the tank VS. the PVC needs to be screwed in???
They only go under the sand when threatened...it that for the first 2 days when I got it... ever since then.. it's been out and about... I've never seen it go under. Is anyone from Central Jersey going to the meeting.. they can take it with them. Heck, if someone is willing to come pick it...
I am selling my Red Cory Wrasse for $15 or trade for coral. He/she is about 3" long. Pickup in Somerset, NJ ( near exit 10 on 287)
Reef safe, but will eat small crustaceans less than 1/16".
So then the Brute containers would be a better option.. I would probably get four 32gal brute containers and fill two with water and the other two with live rock and some water. Anyone have any Brute containers they can let me use? lol I will be buying 2, but I don't want to buy 4 and then...
Well here's what I am planning on doing... I'll be using the 150 gal stock tank from Mike and renting a uhaul trailer (boxed). I'm planning on bagging up all the live stock and placing them in a cooler and moving the water and live rock to the 150 gal stock tank... hopefully, with a heater and...
Does anyone have any water storage containers I can borrow for a day or two? I'd hate to buy big 50 gallon garbage cans and then have no use for them after the move.
