    I'm thinking similar but maybe using some soft tubing maybe even airline tube as a gasket of sorts. Not so sure how how silicone will bond with that but at leasts its an out of water experiment

    Are there any good ways for securing new acrylic baffles to a sump that is already in action? I can't really imagine a multi-day shut down that would allow silicone to cure, so then have started contemplating the aquascape epoxy on my shelf and thinking hm

    What do u guys recommend for adding some asthetic color to the light program? I've got 2 tuna blue kessils over the DT because trendy and look sleek . seem to be effective but I feel like the tank generally looks overly blue. And really dark when they are off

    Crude but hopefully effective...will see in a couple week. First impression is its a little prone to minor splashing; not sure yet if I will be bothered by that. Would have stayed under budget except wife must have borrowed the PVC cement and forgot to close the cap tightly.

    Even though I always speak highly of it Chaeto still just hates me, so decided to try instead the DIY scrubber in vid on this thread placed overtop dysfunctional fuge. Since its basement sump Im not overly concerned of noise, unless it's extreme. Ordered the screen today from SMF...also learned...
