Yea I realized I was going to here some horror stories. Hasn’t even given the ocelaris clowns a second look so far. Yes if I ever have to get it out it’s going require pulling all the rocks.
I picked up a neon dottyback this past Friday. It has been behaving pretty good, except to my nasarius snails, that it harasses. It doesn’t bother the other snails, although i have seen it eyeballing them. The only shrimp I have is a tiger pistol who is as big as the dottyback and is protected...
Great explanation. Nice to see someone still repairing solid state electronics. Earlier in my aviation carrier we used to troubleshoot it. It’s almost all gone from the new fleet.
What would be a good pump for a 10 gal display and a about 4 gal sump with a 3.5 ft head, 1 ball valve and 2 pvc elbows. I have a 290 gpm $20.00 pond fountain pump that has been running nonstop for 2.5 year. I’m thinking about an upgrade. It was running a little noisy a couple days ago. I turned...

I recommend captive bred clowns. One slightly bigger than the other. Put them in at the same time. My Experience is they do great in a small tank. My smaller one use to hide a lot. Took 2 years for the bigger fish to accept his company. Actually in the last month or so they finally started...
I have a small bubble magus in sump. As far as nano skimmer go, it works decent. Most nano skimmer, don’t work very well from my experience, but this works Ok. I don’t know if it’s even worth running a skimmer in a nano.
I had a situation with my HOG algae turf scrubber. The manufacture glues the airhose in very securely. It could not be remove without destroying the thin plastic housing. Over time the hose gets brittle and cracks. Got some air hose clips. Drill some holes in the side, poke them through and glue...
