    Marine magic doser

It depends on the rotation of the pump. I have the BRS pumps and they rotate clockwise therefore, the tube on the left is "in" (alk/cal bottles) and right is "out" (to the sump). They will self prime over time but it will take a loooooong time. Prime them in manual mode until the hoses are...

    RO/DI in Garage?

They say this for two reasons. First, hot water may pickup metals from the hot water heater. Second, is to protect the membrane. The membrane has an upper temp limit that can cause damage. You could be mixing at the right temp but if someone flushes the toilet, you could cook the membrane if...

    90 gallon with 55 gallon sump/refugium ideas

The 55 might be a little high under the stand and make it hard to work in the sump. I forget who did it, but they cut a 55 down to 16" or so and replaced the top trim. I'll see if I can find it. If your looking at getting a 90 you might also want to consider a 120. The extra 6" gives you a...

    Drilling a tank

On thinner glass tanks, it's better to use a Dremel with diamond bit. I've done a large range of sizes even down to a 2.5G with 1/8" glass.

    Tristian's 160GaL Peninsula Build

If the tubing is opaque you will be fine. If it is semi-transparent you will get some growth in the tubing from your fuge light (assuming you have a fuge in your sump).

    JBJ ATO Question

No, you are not missing anything, it's only an A or B option for the switches. However, feel better in knowing that it does have a built in timer that, if a sensor fails or a snail triggers the pump, it will time out and stop. I do believe the timer is adjustable via an internal pot.
