Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
That's the problem I have a JNS reactor that has a 3/4 inch acrylic tube for an outlet and doesn't lend itself to putting a valve on it. Even at the slowest setting on the pump it has a strong vortex flow. I'm going to try the Octopus which should probably give a little better control.
Are you...
I've seemed to notice that when mine tumble too fast I get some cyano. I've ordered a RO reactor through our group buy to see if I can get a slower tumble. I'm also going to run the output to my skimmer.

I'm in consulting and although we don't deal with residential tanks I've dealt with plenty of leaking USTs. As others have said it could be very costly to deal with. What info do they have about the situation? Without doing some investigation work up front it would be hard to say how much soil...
Filter socks are also good idea. You can never have too many of them. How about carbon? I'm guessing salt is an annual staple.

We used a lawyer when we bought our current house to look into an issue with an unresolved lean. He was local in Haddonfield or Cherry Hill if I recall. I can look up his name of you like.
Another Reef Angel user here and very happy with it. The setup wizzard does make it easy to tweak but with what you are looking to do that may not even be necessary. You'll need to get the wifi module to have remote access on your phone. I'd also recommend getting the plus model with the extra...
