Does placement of the intake for the reactor matter? I'm wondering if oxygen rich intake is bad. If this is considered Hijacking I do apologize. Its just a question I havent heard asked b4.

The heat is something I didnt think about. My heaters are in the basement where the sump and fuge are. Currently tank runs around 78. I will keep an eye on that when frame is complete because I am putting fans in to keep lights cool.

Should the glass lids be left on the aquarium. I am wondering if the glass takes away from t5 lighting. My fish havent leaped out of the tank yet. I know its a possibility but I'm building a cover so if they want to jump they'll bounce back in. I did have a dartfish jump into the overflow area...

Make sure the pellets have enough movement so they dont stick together but not to much so its hard for bacteria to take hold

I've been having issues with high nitrate, 50ppm. Went to pellets got the cloudy water lost sps and lps. My coral seem to do better with higher nitrate.
