The water came straight from my display tank, which is a reef so I have never treated copper. I used the Seachem Cupermine. I have to pick up a copper test kit.

Not sure. It was fine then yesterday developed a single white spot on one of its fins. I treated with copper last night and was actively swimming last night. This morning gone. I have 4 other fish in the QT so hopefully everyone else is fine. This is my first QT that I have run so its annoying.

One down, and its the Psych Head wrasse. I have m QT tank going and after eating like a pig every day, the wrasse is a floater this morning. Very frustrating but glad it wasn't in my DT.

I was looking into doing the 'upgrade' from my Sol Blues to the Vegas and using the AI controller. From what I have seen the Vegas are great and provide a great solution.

No changes at all, just humming along. Very annoying. That is why I was thinking that after a year i need to clean hoses and pieces of the skimmer.

So I am traveling this week and thank god i put that float switch in, my skimmer went nuts overnight and was shut down without an issue. Trying to figure out why for a few days skimmer is fine, then out of no where it decides it should suck in 10 times the amount of water. Total pain...

I love the creative thoughts. No it has a full basement. I will most likely get a chiller and just continue to run the ceiling fan so the heat from that gets moved out.

Fish prices seem to be posted, which is great but nothing on the corals. I like to window shop before i ask for help and not having pricing can be annoying.

Woke up today to another overflow, what a pain in the tush. Also got my IO Breakout box today and a float switch. This should prevent it from ever happening again.
