Ours are growing but it's a pretty slow process. It seems like it's taking longer than it would for new heads to sprout on an established colony.

Yeah, we have frogspawn popping up in a couple of spots around the tank. I assume its from the same thing. I've had to pull some of them out because they starting coming up right underneath some nice chalices and started to annoy them.

And to think, I used to get yelled at when I did that.

I wouldn't anticipate seeing any changes until after October. The work load ahead is staggering and unfortunately, enhancements like this don't fit in.

As a general rule, metal in a reef tank is no good. You *should* replace any submerged metal clamps with plastic ones.

THIS is what you are looking for. I'm not sure if they'll have them at Lowes or not. Where are you located? I have a ton of them and could give you one if you want.
