    You may want to recheck that pH. It looks really low. If it is accurate, you'll need to do something to bring it up to the 7.9 to 8.1 range minimum, 8.2 to 8.4 optimum.

    Is there any concern about using a metal mixing blade? I've always heard that metal is a no-no with reef tanks but wasn't sure how much exposure would cause a problem.

    John doesn't use any water anymore! When I did, I used tap water. As Phyl said, it's more because of mineral deposits. RODI would be fine.
