Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
The Club did a calcium reactor build at a meeting a three years ago. Here is the first post in the thread that links over to the RC thread with the instructions. I would highly recommend reviewing that thread and then NOT DOING ANY OF IT! I think we built 5 reactors that day. They were huge and...
Ahhhh . . . Someone as sick as me! I love the screw heads on your switch plates. Everyone thinks I'm crazy but apparently I'm not alone! Pssst you missed one on the water pump/venturi plate.
Hi John. Welcome to NJRC! Congrats on your pending graduation and also on your conversion to salt water. Feel free to ask any questions and tap in on the wealth of knowledge on this site. Your upgrade to the 75 should go smooth as silk!
Welcome Bodells and thanks for your sponsorship! I see you're on the RSVP list for our meeting. That's great. We look forward to meeting you! However, I don't see the kids registered. Feel free to bring them along. Families are always welcome. We have 2 kids (6 and 9) with tons of toys and...
Anyone who knows Bill knows that he manages an on-going "group buy" for JC - noble work indeed!
I would have thought that I'd be spending a lot of time in front of my tank lately. Unfortunately, looking for a job is MUCH HARDER than having a job! Sheesh, I haven't worked this much in 10 years...

I'm pretty sure only club members have the ability to edit their posts. And like a lot of other sites (RC for one), you still only have an hour to do so.
I saw you wearing the Extreme Makeover shirt on at Pnoy's meeting and I meant to ask you if the episode you worked on had aired already or not. I guess not! We'll look for ya tonight!
As was pointed out to me when I first asked the question, PVC primer and cement are used in potable applications so it must be safe. I've used it many times, quite often just about immediately after gluing pieces together. I've never seen the slightest adverse reaction.
Definitely the same Trinity. The guy who sold us the AC was a real shady dude. He smooth talked us into spending a boatload on AC and it was a total waste. We didn't know any better and he said "Do have a heater? Yeah? Does it heat the house? Well it if heats your house, we can use it to cool...
Try one of our sponsors. Either Aquatic Obsessions, Ocean Gallery II, Red Sand, AllQuatics or the Hidden Reef. IMO, they support the club so we owe it to them to give them the first shot.
BTW, it may get a little confusing having this same question in two different forums. You may want to have...
