Originally I was going to have the new tank upstairs between the kitchen and den. But the opening i was gonna put it in is only 9 feet. miscalculated so it's gong in the basement. Sump is most likely going under tank. So no fish room :(. It will still be a penninsula seep rating 2 areas of...

Ok. I have a nicely behaved and quite friendly 70 gal sump. But I'm wondering if it's at all useful for my new build. I considered converting my 150 into a sump but it is heavy and not very polite. New tank will be 300 gal. Those with larger tanks what do you have?

I think it occurred because of the vitamins I've been soaking the food in. My tang was getting ragged fins. Then I cleaned the stringy crap off the back wall of my tank and it got everywhere. Then the water change and missing the salt level. I removed20 gal over 14 hours and used fresh rodi...

I did it over 24 hours. I just took the orbic cardinal out. He was barely swimming. Other fish look ok. Let's see what happens...

Not quite sure why but my tank is being overrun with brown stringy alge. I tried cleaning it and it's not much better. Been doing water changes but found out after a day that I had my salt at 1.030. Took it down to .025 bit now one of my orbic cardinals is dying. I'm going to keep cleaning...

Just an FYI. I bought my replacement yellow spot fairy wrasse from Florida. It was about a. 100 bucks for transport. I'm in howell. I dont know if i can help but ask and we will see.
