Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Alright so idk if it's me but my snails seem to be more active and actually are eating the algae I'm fighting. For several weeks I have picked up the snails and placed them on the rock but they did no damage. My rocks are actually clearing up.
hey JR. no clams, i am sps dominated with an exception to several zoas and my orange hammers. look i dont know if it's me but i dosed last night and saw a huge improvement this morning.
The one on Ryder's lane in Miltown, and I think the one in eatontown aren't that bad. But the one in old bridge on 9 is a cesspool. They use tap water!!!!
Ouch. Well glad that's over with. If I was in mikes situation, it would have ultimately been my fault and I would have been cursed off lol. What are you using to battle the bubble algae? I just started dosing ultra algea x to fight off a cross of Dino and hair algae.
Going from a deep blue stand to a custom built solid oak stand, I'll stick with the latter. I found someone in NY who built my stand to the way I wanted it which was almost the same amount as the marineland Monterey stands(and that was almost at cost). I rather have a solid stand with over a ton...
I might be selling my foscam soon. I can't remember which model it is maybe 7000 series but it is wireless. It was bought with the intention of setting up at my brothers restaurant but the franchise wanted something else.
I love my 8x54w. I thought about switching back to LEDs but in the end it wasn't worth it. As far as color goes, I've noticed better color with LEDs but that's probably bc my corals were used to LEDs. Every t5 and mh raised coral that I have acquired since the switch looks amazing.
