So many of you know that I am far from a outdoors person. I grew up in NY in a building and my idea of home repair was asking the super to fix it.
Anyways for the past 6 years living in NJ I've been leaning on this second-hand craftman mower. it did the job but it was very hard to push the...
The old adage here is applicable of practice practice practice. I had been taking pics with "AWB" done automatically...this does great in outdoor pics etc but terrible with the ATI blue plus'. There was a device on my camera that has several pre-set options besides AWB...so i literally took 30...
Wouldn't a lot of ornamental fish (e.g. Yellow Tangs, Yellow-eyed tangs, picasso triggers) be from Hawaii...? i wouldn't be concerned if that were the sole concern. In fact if it's straight from there that's even better since they won't have to pass thru a wholesaler in the states first.
Was in the city over the weekend. Instead of Carmines we decided to return for some latin food and the place did not disappoint.

Pollo ala brasa:
Chops & Plantains...
But this post is not about food - which the above is fantastic for...(there were 9 of us and...

Oh and I finally think I have this White Balance figured out on my camera. Dang ATI Blue Plus' are making all my photos blue blue blue blue...
This thing is rigged!!! you just want to get in good with the president!!!!!!
Also I demand that the sunset be tested for steroids...there is no way it would over take an undata!!
(i am a sore loser).
LOL! ;)
that skimmer needs to be at a certain water height to function correctly...but I am 100% in agreement with you on the sensitivity...it is very difficult to tune...that stated, once you hit the sweet spot it's great. I used it for my clowns when i was growing them out on a 29 gallon tank.
Surprised no one said trigger fish...they are awesome and extremely hearty. Just be ready to spend money on the clean up crew as they will eat em...lol.
State fish of Hawai'i is the Picasso Trigger...
EDIT: oops just noticed shulzer mentioned the picasso already...lol.
Well I spoke to my local recyling area and they said it's considered HazMat and that the next date was May 19th in New Brunswick/Apple Orchard Road by the jail (didn't know there was one). I was given this phone # to call for further info 732. 745.4170.
This would be for middlesex county...
3 1/2 hrs away for me...plus i'm committed to an event in nyc that date...
there is no vendor list...so i take it this is a "swap" between hobbyists? $15 including buffet lunch!
EDIT: re: vendor list, nevermind i saw the list of people attending via fragswapper.
ahhh TFP = the mecca of east coast dry goods.
I don't go to the live section enough to comment but last time i was there I liked that they
1) labeled all fish in the tanks
2) Labels has prices
3) Labels had DATE the fish was placed into the tank
Obviously to me the longer the tank has...
don't you have a gate valve or something on the skimmer to just turn it back a little bit? Then when the epoxy effect has subsided, you can just turn the valve back to it's original spot (mark it with a pen or label).
Yes it is for the mower and never thought of that...thanks for the fast response!
But I have another one. For the snowblower it requires a mixture of oil and gasoline....so that other container also needs to be disposed...suggestions?
Was wondering as I have some left over gasoline from last season and I want to toss it. Do I bring it to like jiffylube or suburban automall or pepboys...do they take it????
@Matt - i know h.erectus is off these waters (heck i've caught them out of the hudson 15 yrs ago), but correct me here as I thought the risk with attempting capture of sea horses is that wild-caught horses:
a) are very difficult to convince to eat anything but live food
b) and may have...
They are freshwater...
Also at 2 inches in shell size, that's like almost smaller than a mexican turbo snail george...not much eatin...
You are better off asking for a bushel of these:
Naaa...it's a lot easier than it seems - just takes some trial and error. Remember when we met at Rod's place for the NJRC meeting? I brought a few clowns as a donation for the club to raffle...I never did hear what happened to them...I hoped to be able to breed a few clowns for every meeting...
