Just wanted to see if you guys vacuum your sand with your water changes? I normally do not, and I vacuumed a small section today and black sludge came out. My sand bed is 1 1/2 inches deep.
I believe the corallife is standard t5, not ho. Do I don't think that will work for you. Current usa user to make 16 inch ho fixtures.

Dan, is that joist in the second picture cracking horizontally? If so that needs to be addressed first, that takes a lot of strength out of that joist.
If you use the ATO to dose kalk the pump and tube can get plugged up with residue. Even if you don't dose kalk I would give the float and the pump a good vinegar bath. I clean mine every 6 months or so.
It has a built in safety feature that will turn off the pump if it is on over a few minutes (so it doesn't overflow the tank). When it is in this protection mode it will pulse/buzz the motor so you notice that something is wrong. If you haven't yet I would soak the float and the pump in vinegar...
I have not tried flake or lrs frozen. I will see what I can pick up today. It was intimidated by the bigger fish at first but now it is coming out more. Hopefully it will eat soon because it is skinny.

Hey Guys,
I bought a clown goby a few weeks ago and it still refuses to eat. It will eat but it spits the food right back out. Anyone have any recommendations for food? I have tried NLS pellets, blender mush, and mysis.
Thanks,
In my option 8-9 degrees alk is perfect, not low. Make sure you make alk changes very slow. I hope things turn around for you.

I am not sure being one point off in salinity would cause they much of an issue. Did you reef safe silicone in the sump? Some silicones have mold inhibitors which can cause major issues.
