It leaning towards is not great for the tank, however it is not causing the issue. The issue is the frame is broken. Also, as you discovered to know whether the tank is level you need a long level (ie 3 - 4 feet). Again, it this was me I would get a new tank, or drain it and replace the frame...

The frame is held on by the same silicone as the seams. And with a tank that large, rise cracks in the frame would make nervous. If it was me and I wanted to save the tank I would drain it and fix it right by replacing the frame. Sent from my LG-D800 using Tapatalk
