Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I would personally try the carbon dosing approach and just do biopellets. The bacteria that consume the pellets naturally reduce phosphate and nitrate.
Remember that seinfeld episode when elaine was talking to the guy at the gym, and he kept referring to himself in the 3rd person? I never knew Nikki was like that guy.
EDIT: The episode was called "The Jimmy"!!!
i got tired of spending money on GFO/Carbon and neglecting to change them out. I know I know you are supposed to stick to that regimen but life interrupts. Anyways I harvest the chaeto and I now just run biopellets. So for me - i keep those two going, but no more GFO/Carbon.
I don't think...
If it were closer to me maybe I'd go more often, but I have OGII, Aquatic Obsessions and Red sand all closer. Not to mention all the reefers on here who sell/share frags.
When I visited it - it seemed interesting - though back then if I recall the other areas (fresh water etc) seemed as large...
Oh guys - i should just point out we should avoid outright flaming other forums here. I know we are all tempted to but I think that kind of conversation should be held at a meeting or over the phone etc. I know I wouldn't be happy to be reading about people bashing NJRC on the RC forums so...
everyone says there is a difference - but i'm not sure if that is just marketing. A carbon source should in theory all be the same...whether you use vodka or biopellets. But i leave that discussion to the Jedi as I am but a padawan in these matters.
on my 120 i am using the br-70. Review below:

I picked it up during the last group buy.
also using the TLF NPX pellets...i heard the warner pellets might be better...but so far no complaints.
