The toughest part about tank is the patience. Add things too fast and they'll die (and so will your wallet). Please take your time. I know it's extremely tough, but not as frustrating as putting in fish/coral too soon or too much too quick. Hang in there. There's some great info on this...

I currently have an 8x54 ATI powermodule. It's a great fixture but I want to move to LEDs for my 4x2x2 120. Had been fish only since Sandy killed all the coral, but I want to add back in a gbta, some frogspawn, gsp and maybe a brain or two. I want to go to LEDs only. I'm tired of replacing...

Question though, after changing out the membranes and DI resin etc, should I run water through it for a while before I move it over to my mixing barrel? Like just run it to break it in creating scrap water first, or is it usable straight away? Thx

You're awesome. I just asked this exact question the other day. Odd thing is mine has sediment, then carbon, carbon, then di resin. Makes me thing it's not setup right when I look at the pic. Thanks for posting this.

Is the membrane and di resin need to be specific to this exact RODI? I don't think they make this one anymore and want to make sure I'm getting the right stuff. Was looking for a video on how to swap stuff out but there's nothing out there. Hoping it's not difficult to figure out.

Bought this unit 6 years ago and have never done anything to it. Used it for a year, and then started buying my water due to some house issues. What would I have to do to start using this again? Do I need to replace the membranes? Or just turn on the faucet and go? I'm so out of the loop...

Have a 4x2x2 120g tank and want to build a canopy for 2 leds that I'm going to get from Feng. I'm looking for canopy plan options. Something that will hold the two lights but still provide good access to get in the tank. Thanks
