    I don't think it's anything to worry about. The only thing that would bother a mushroom is brown flat worms. I can't make out what that is. Wait for Matt to show up. He's great at I'ding things.

    Unless it's going to be fish only with no live rock. I wouldn't use a wet/dry filter. Not with bio balls or the likes. Could use it as a sump.

    custom top off container

    I'm using a container that I picked up in HD. It's sold for storing wrapping paper in.It's like 9"x15" and 24" high with out the lid. Lid adds 8". Holds abuot 10 gal.

    Hair Algae - Sea hare

    The only thing that worked for me was water changes a little more often and changing the carbon more often. Make sure your using good water for top off and water changes. You can try to siphon it out as you scrap it off the glass.
