Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
It'll eat the whole leg. There won't be anything left to take out. You don't even need to defrost it really. Just get a sharp knife, hack off another leg and toss it in. It'll defrost in the water as the harlequin is "sizing" it up. If you have a sump, you can keep the CC in there and hope that...
Unfortunately, I was pretty sick last week and wasn't able to help out. Hopefully someone can give you a hand, if not I'll try to run up there Saturday morning before the meeting.
We have THESE U-tubes in our 65. We use a Mag 7 that splits the feed to 2 of them going in over the top. I wouldn't say we lose much flow as a result of the U-Tubes. When we were using a SQWD, we had to run a Mag 9.5 to get just about as much flow as we're getting now out of the 7
I would say the sizes you have are fine. The holes in your overflow and designed to handle 1" drain and 3/4" return lines. If you really wanted to, you could step up the feed coming from your Mag pump to 1" or 1.25" and then step it down to 3/4" at the bulkhead but it's probably not necessary...
I gotta tell you, when I first saw the Oceanic stand we bought for our 180 I thought "E-GAD! This thing is made out of balsa wood! And where are all of the vertical supports?!? There is NO WAY this could hold up a tank!" I'll be darned though, it holds it just fine. Of course, I saw this after I...
Either we'll all be there or I'll be there alone or something but you'll definitely have help! We have to have Sierra somewhere by 1 so I'm not sure how it's gonna play out.
We seem to have *misplaced* 2 scooter blennies. Everybody is else is present and accounted for. The real challenge we're faced with right now is trying to find homes for all of the corals we pulled out of the old setup. The stock tank is loaded! We still have a lot of room, it's just a matter of...
I'm sure I'll get used to it. Actually, I know I will. Once the rocks purple up and I don't see frag putty everywhere, I'll be much happier.
Thanks for all the kind words. It was a heck of lot of work - Especially after having spent the day on the road between Mr. Corals and back!
