I have a Outer Orbit 36" 2x 150w, 4 x 39w T5s and I love it. It did raise the temp on my 46g to where I needed a chiller for the summer. Bob

I don't think you can swap bulbs between a 250w mh and a 150w two different fixtures. Bob

Machct Welcome aboard! The are different views on the use of UV lights on a reef setup. I personally have used one in the past and after some discussion in this forum removed it and didn't notice a difference. Bob

Greg Sorry to hear about your light. I would look into a 24" 4 bulb T5 fixture, you lose a little wattage but the T5s are better bulbs and cheaper to replace then CF. Bob

Jenn I'm the one that posted about the Coralife timer strip fire. If you had the strip connected to a GFI it would trip if the strip shorted, the problem would be any combustible material around it being ignited. Play it safe and get rid of it. I was lucky that it shorted when I was standing...

I've used both and prefer the Aiptasia-X usually works first shot. Bob
